“We wanted to use Master Terminal to manage general cargo, we are not just a container port. We have all sorts of cargo – cars, trailers, etc. Most products are only able to manage containers. The ability to accommodate planning for Roll-On/Roll-Off (RORO) shipping was very important when selecting a TOS, as the Messina fleet is composed 90% of RORO vessels.”

Project Manager, Messina Line
If your terminal is configured to handle Roll-On/Roll-Off (RORO) vessels then you need a terminal operating system (TOS) that can cope with the complexities that this presents. Master Terminal has been designed to cater for all cargo types, not just containers, making it the TOS of choice for RORO terminals.
For ease of use, RORO cargo is handled the same way as other Master Terminal cargo with similar screens and processes used. Functionality includes a full graphic display of each RORO deck at all stages of operations, and highly detailed definitions of each deck including vehicle lanes, deck layout, ramps, pillars, and container twistlock grids.
